The Petitioner alleges certain malpractices and irregularities committed by the erstwhile office bearers of the Grampanchayat, Narayangaon. The Petitioner in support thereof seeks to rely upon various documents in the nature of audit report etc. The Petitioner has vide his application dated 1-3-2018 addressed to the Sub Inspector of Police, Narayangaon Police Station has requested for an FIR to be registered against the erstwhile members of the Grampanchayat, Narayangaon in respect of the alleged misappropriation, malpractices, irregularities that were committed whilst they were the office bearers of the said Grampanchayat. Since the said representation has been addressed to the Sub Inspector of Police Narayangaon, Police Station, we are of the view that it would be appropriate if the Petitioner address a representation to the Senior Inspector of Police, Narayangaon Police mmj

wp-4112-17(14) Station, Taluka Junnar, District Pune, the same to be done within two weeks from date. If such a representation is received by the Senior Inspector of Police, Narayangaon Police Station, he would consider the same and take a decision thereon within 4 weeks and communicate the said decision to the Petitioner. It would be contingent upon the decision that would be communicated to the Petitioner that the Petitioner may thereafter take appropriate recourse in law.

In so far as prayer clause (d) is concerned, it would be open for the Petitioner to adopt appropriate proceedings in respect of the said relief before the appropriate forum.

With the directions as aforesaid, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The Learned APP Mr. Pethe to communicate the aforesaid development to the Senior Inspector of Police, Narayangaon Police Station forthwith.
