Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the trial before the NDPS court has already commenced. Fifteen witnesses have been examined. Maximum punishment for the offence, if proved, would be 20 years of imprisonment.

Considering the fact that the accused was arrested in 2012 and the trial has already commenced,as noted above, this criminal application is disposed of.
