Heard the Director of the Petitioner Company appearing in person. The learned counsel appearing for the first Respondent invited our attention to the provisions of the Sub-section (6) of Section 42 of the Maharashtra Electricity Supply Act, 2003. He submits that as the Petitioner is a person whose premises for the time being are connected for the purpose of receiving electricity, the Petitioner is a consumer within the meaning of Sub-section (15) of Section 2 of the said Act of 2003.
