By this writ petition, the Petitioner is seeking registration of FIR on the basis of letter dated 18th July 2015, copy of which annexed at Exhibit-B to this petition. Perusal of the said letter shows that it is notice sent by an Advocate. We are, therefore not inclined to entertain the writ petition and the same is dismissed. 2.
The Petitioner is, however, at liberty to file proper report before the Officer in-charge of the concerned Police Station as contemplated under section 154(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Needless to state that on such report being made, the Officer in-charge of the concerned Police Station shall hold preliminary enquiry, take appropriate decision and communicate the same to the Petitioner at the earliest possible and at any rate within seven days from the date of filing of report by the Petitioner.
