The Applicant, apprehending arrest, in connection with the investigation of Crime No.1004 of 2021 registered with Indapur Police Station, under Section 307, 323, 324, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code is seeking anticipatory bail.

The aforesaid offence is registered on the basis of the complaint lodged by Santosh Baba Jadhav on 18 November 2021. A perusal of the FIR shows that the allegation against the Applicant is of an assault by a stick on the legs and back of the first informant as well as one Prashant Mali. N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2

A perusal of the injury report of Prashant Mali shows that he has suffered three CLWs and one blunt trauma over the calf muscle. Insofar as the informant Santosh Jadhav is concerned all injuries are simple in nature. The record discloses that by an order dated 16 December 2021 interim protection was granted to the Applicant on condition of attendance.

The Applicant has reported to the Investigating officer and co-operated with the investigation agency. Considering the overall circumstances, the Criminal Application is disposed of in terms of order dated 16 December 2021 subject to the condition that the Applicant shall continue to co-operate with the investigation and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence/witnesses.
