2] The basic grievance in this petition is that the petitioner's application dated 24 September 2014 made under Section 36(2) of the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 seeking revocation of sanction is not being disposed of expeditiously.
3] Taking into consideration the averments in the petition, this petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 1 to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 24 September 2014, in 1/2
skc 17-WP-10302-14 accordance with law and on its own merits, expeditiously. All issues are kept open. Respondent no. 1 shall endeavour to dispose of the application as early as possible and in any case within a period of three months from the date of production of this order. 4] The parties to appear before respondent no. 1 for directions on 17 January 2015 at 11 a.m., which the learned counsel for the petitioner states, is the date already fixed in the matter. 5] With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
