Learned counsel for the applicant on instruction submits that applicant is not pressing for bail. However, it is submitted that trial may be expedited. The applicant is facing the prosecution under N.D.P.S Act. Applicant has been arrested on 30th June, 2015. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is in custody for about three and half years. Learned Special Public Prosecutor for the Respondent-State submits that several expedited cases are ending before trial Court. 2.
Taking into consideration that the applicant is in custody for a period of three and half years, the trial Court is directed to make endevour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and within a period of one year.
