Heard Mr.Salunkhe, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Perused the writ petition and the annexures thereto. The remedy to seek a relief in terms of prayer clause (a) is not a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioners have alternate and equally efficacious remedy which they can avail of by approaching an appropriate Forum / Court. Granting that liberty and upholding the preliminary objection to the maintainability of this writ petition, we dismiss this writ petition. There shall be no order as to costs.
