The petitioner who has been externed for a period of six (6) months by the Externing Authority is seeking direction against respondent no.1 to decide the statutory appeal within four (4) weeks from today. Learned advocate for the petitioner states that on 6th December 2022 the appeal was fixed, but opportunity of hearing was not granted to the petitioners.

In that view of the matter, the respondent no.1 is directed to hear the petitioner and shall pass appropriate order within four (4) weeks from today.
