The prayer clause (a) of the petition reads as under: "This Hon'ble High Court be pleased to issue a suitable appropriate writ of mandamus, or appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondent No. 2 to 5 to recover the sugarcane price for the crushing season 2013-2014 as per R.R.C. Dated 23.01.2015 as per order passed by Respondent No.2."

It is submitted by the Counsel appearing for the respondent that by an order dated 5th November, 2015, the Commissioner of Sugar set aside the order passed on 23rd January, 2015. Being aggrieved by the order passed on 5th November, 2015, petitioner filed the writ petition bearing no. 12216/2015 which is admitted by Division Bench of this Court (Coram: A.S. Oka and A.K. Menon, JJ) vide order dated 2nd May, 2017. 3.
