The grievance made in the petition is that though the elections to the respondent no.4 - Society are due, steps have not been taken even to publish the provisional list of voters. The learned AGP Mrs. Salunkhe, on instructions of Mr. Dinesh Chavan, Assistant Registrar, who has received instructions from Mr. D. S. Salunkhe, District Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Mumbai City, makes a statement that the provisional list of voters would be published within 15 days from date. Statement accepted. 2.

In view of the said statement, it is not necessary to keep the above petition pending. The petition is accordingly disposed of. However, it is expected of the authorities that they would complete the election programme as per the statutory requirements. (SARANG V. KOTWAL, J.) (R. M. SAVANT, J.) URS
