Learned APP points out that the Petitioner has challenged only the show-cause notice under Section 59 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

No efforts were taken by learned counsel for the Petitioner to get the matter circulated. This Petition is pending since 2019. This inaction on the part of learned counsel for the Petitioner is not appreciated at all. Unnecessarily the Petition is kept pending, and that too challenging the show cause notice. That show cause notice is dated 18.9.2019. There is no substance in the Petition. The Petitioner had an option to participate in the externment proceedings. The Petition is, therefore, dismissed.
