The application is filed for condonation of delay of 2 days occurred in filing an application for leave to appeal. 2.

By order dated 17th November, 2016, we issued notice to the respondents. The respondents are served. However, none appears on their behalf when the matter is called out today nor an affidavit contesting the application is filed by the respondents. In that view of the matter, the respondents are deemed to have accepted the averments made in the application.

By making averments in paragraphs 2 and 3, the applicant has explained the delay. We find the explanation to be satisfactory. We, therefore, condone the delay of 2 days. The application is, accordingly, allowed and is disposed of as such.
