On 01 November, 2023, we had passed the following order:- "1.

In pursuance of the order dated 30 October 2023 Ms. Bhende, learned AGP has submitted a communication of the Deputy Secretary, Women and Children Development Division, Government of Maharashtra dated 31 October 2023, thereby, it has been informed to the Commissioner, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Government of Maharashtra, New Mumbai, that an amount of Rs.27,01,436/- in compliance with the orders of this Court be released. The letters are taken on record and marked "X" for identification.

It is informed by Ms. Bhende, on instructions, that such amount shall be released within a period of 2 to 3 days. We may note that for such amount to be released, the petitioner was required to file the present Contempt Petition when the order itself was passed by this Court on 23 December 2021. Hence, there cannot be a further delay.

We, accordingly, direct Respondent No.1 to release the ------------------------- 03 November, 2023

902-cp 493-23.odt amount within a period of one week after the amounts are received by the Zilla Parishad, Pune. Insofar as report of compliance of disbursal of the amount by the State Government to the Zilla Parishad, list the proceeding on 3 November 2023 (First on Board), thereafter further appropriate orders shall be passed."

We are informed that the amount is already received by Zilla Parishad-respondent no.1. It is informed by learned counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2 that the cheques are being prepared and the amount would be disbursed on 06 November, 2023. Statement is accepted.

In the above circumstances, the contempt petition is not required to be taken any further. We accordingly dispose of the contempt petition. No costs.
