This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing an appeal challenging the Judgment and Order dated 10/2/2016 passed by Special Judge(POCSO) in Special Case No. 26 of 2015 thereby, convicting the applicant for offence punishable under section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and sentencing him to suffer R.I. for 10 years. The appeal is filed through jail. Advocate is appointed through Legal Services Committee. For the reasons assigned in paragraph 3 and 4 of the application, delay deserves to be condoned in the interest of justice. The application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
