This Court by an order dated 18th August, 2020 in Anticipatory Bail Application No. 06 of 2020, at the request of learned Counsel appearing for the applicant, granted liberty to withdraw the application with a direction to surrender before the learned Magistrate on 25th August, 2020. It was inter alia directed that if the applicant fails to surrender before the Magistrate by 5:00 p.m. on 25th August,2020, investigation agency shall take steps to arrest the applicant.

Learned APP is unable to make any statement as to whether the investigating agency has complied with the said order passed on 18th August, 2020. Learned APP to make a statement to that effect at 2:30 p.m. today.

Learned APP, on instructions, submits that the charge-sheet has already been filed in the court of JMFC, Igatpuri and the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not required. Statement is accepted. In view of such statement, nothing survives in the application and stands disposed of.
