Learned APP in response to the Court's query on instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that after completing preliminary inquiry, call will be taken as to whether cognizable case is made out or not and written intimation to that effect shall be given to the petitioner.

We expect the aforesaid process to be completed within a period of four weeks from today.

Counsel for the petitioner assures that the petitioner shall remain present before the Investigating Officer for the purpose of inquiry as and when directed.

In view of above, nothing survives in the petition. The petition as such stands disposed of.
