Heard. It is stated that the Petitioner is lodged in Nashik Central Prison. He applied for parole which application is still kept pending with the Respondent authorities. Learned APP submits that it is not known as to whether application for parole was filed by the Petitioner.

In case such an application is filed and if pending, the Respondent or the appropriate authority would decide said application expeditiously on its own merits. We direct the authorities to decide the parole application request of the Petitioner within four days from today.
