Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Learned counsel for the parties state that the disputes between the parties stand resolved. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions of the petitioner who is present in the Court, that he has agreed to give up the back-wages as a condition for his reinstatement, however, subject to the benefit of continuity of his services since the date of his appointment i.e. from the year 1989 to be reckoned for the purpose of taking into account his total length of service on the date of retirement, and for the purposes of his retirement/terminal benefits. ------------------------- 23 February, 2023

Mr. Deshmukh, learned counsel for the respondents, on the instructions of the Law Officer of the respondents, states that the respondents are agreeable to the conditions as recorded in paragraph 2 above. He states that such settlement being agreeable to the respondents, the petition itself can be disposed of.

In the above circumstances, further adjudication of the petition is not called for. It is disposed of terms of the settlement between the parties as noted above. No costs.
