By the order impugned, the learned Family Court, Bandra directed the petitioner/husband to pay Rs.12,000/- per month to the respondent/wife towards interim maintenance. 2.

The application fled by the respondent /wife under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for maintenance is still pending. Considering this fact instead of hearing the present petition on merits, it would be appropriate to expedite the hearing of the said application.

The learned Family Court shall endeavour to decide Petition No. E-233 of 2017 fled by the respondent-wife for maintenance within nine months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Dinesh S. Sherla 1/2

The impugned order shall remain stayed till fnal decision of the Petition No. E-233 of 2017, subject to deposit of further amount of Rs.1,00,000/- by the petitioner/husband before the Family Court within six weeks from today. The respondent/wife is permitted to withdraw the said amount.
