Heard learned counsel for the parties. By consent of the parties heard finally.

The petitioner is facing charges before the Special Judge for the offence punishable under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the charges of forgery. The evidence of three witnesses has been recorded. The respondent CBI have cited about 35 witnesses to be examined on behalf of the respondents. The case is of the year 2010. The petitioner prays for expeditious hearing of the case. In my opinion, the prayer is reasonable and need to be 1/2

2)WP4308.14 considered by the trial court. However, I am not inclined to interfere at this stage. In my opinion, the petitioner shall move the trial court for expeditious hearing. If he does not get the relief from the trial court, he is always at liberty to move this Court. The petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file application before the trial court for expeditious hearing of the case.
