Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 12th Court, Bandra, Mumbai, to expeditiously proceed with the case and pass appropriate orders in C.C.No. 84/SW/2014. 3.
The petitioner is the original complainant who has filed a criminal complaint, bearing C.C.No.84/SW/2014 in the Court of the Wakodikar 1/2
25. WP 6085-2021.doc learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 12th Court, Bandra, Mumbai, alleging offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 474, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that almost 8 years have passed, however, till date, the Magistrate has not passed any order either issuing process or dismissing the complaint. 4.
Considering the fact, that the complaint filed by the petitioner is pending since 2014 and till date, no orders are passed on the said complaint, it would be appropriate to direct the learned Metropolitan Magistrate before whom the said complaint is pending i.e. C.C.No.84/PW/ 2014, to pass orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 5.
Petition is allowed on the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed of.
