Heard. This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing the appeal challenging the judgment and order dated 2nd July, 2018 passed by the Learned Special Judge (POCSO) at Mumbai thereby convicting the Applicant for the offences punishable under section 10 r/w. Section 9 (m) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for seven years and fine of Rs.2,000/-. 2.

For the reasons assigned in paragraph 3 of the application and the fact that the Applicant is behind bar, the delay of 24 days is condoned in the interest of justice.
