The petitioners filed nominations before the Returning Officer to contest a Gram Panchayat Election. By the respective orders, which are placed on record, the nominations of the petitioners were rejected. 2.

We have perused the different orders passed by the Returning Officer rejecting the nominations of the petitioners. The petitioners did not submit the nomination papers along with the required mandatory documents and certificate. The said deficiency cannot be cured later on by submitting the documents. The election process is already set in motion.

Considering the above stated facts and record, no interference is warranted under extra ordinary writ jurisdiction of this court. Petition is dismissed.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty to file election petition. The petitioner is entitled to resort to alternate remedy as permissible in law.
