The Applicant was granted bail vide order dated 30th April, 2021 on his furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. 2.

Looking at the then prevailing circumstances, the Applicant was given an option to furnish cash sureties for a period of three months from that date.

The present Application is filed because the Applicant did not furnish the sureties within a period of three months. He is seeking extension of that facility. The learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that it was difficult for the Applicant to get

(61) ia.189.2022.doc those sureties. The learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that as on today, the Applicant has been successful in getting a person who is willing to stand as surety. The Applicant, therefore, seeks extension of time granted in the order dated 30th April, 2021. 4.

Considering that the Applicant had shown bonafide intention to approach this Court for extension of time and he has stated genuine reasons, I am inclined to grant this Application. 5.

Hence, the following order:

(i) Time to furnish sureties is extended by further period of six weeks from today.

(ii)The Application is disposed of accordingly. (SARANG V. KOTWAL, J.)
