Learned counsel for the Applicant does not press this Application at this stage. He states that the prosecutrix's evidence was recorded in April, 2017. He, however, submits that since the trial has commenced, the trial be expedited. 2.

Accordingly, the Application is disposed of as not pressed. However, the trial of the Applicant is expedited. The learned Judge shall make an endeavour to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within six months from the date of receipt of this order.
