The applicant has been convicted by the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Satara in Special (ACB) Case No. 15 of 2015 under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentenced to

* 3/4 * suffer rigorous imprisonment for 3 years and pay fine of Rs.10,000/-. He has also been convicted under Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for a period of 4 years. 2.

Heard Learned Counsel for the applicant and Learned APP for the State.

Perused the judgment. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the quantum of sentence imposed, the applicant is directed to be released on bail during the pendency of this Appeal. Hence, the following order :-

O R D E R

(i) That the sentence imposed on the applicant in Sessions Case is hereby suspended during the pendency of this Appeal and is directed to be released on bail on the same terms and conditions as was on bail during the pendency of trial. (ii) He shall not leave the Country without first
