Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned AGP for the Respondents. It is pointed out that the Revision Application filed by Respondent Nos.2 to 5 before the State Government on 24th December, 2010 has not been decided. The letter dated 15th February, 2016 tendered by the learned AGP addressed to her by the Revenue and Forest Department is taken on record and marked 'X-1' for identification. The letter records that the file of the Revision Application has been destroyed in the fire in Mantralaya. In view of what is stated in the said letter, we dispose of the Petition by passing the following order :-

ORDER

(i)We direct the Petitioner to file on record of the Revisional Authority (the Hon'ble Minister of Revenue Department of the Government of Maharashtra) a true copy of the Revision Application filed by the Respondent Nos.2 to 5 as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of one month from today. After the copy is filed, the Revisional Authority will take immediate steps to reconstruct the record of the Revision Application after notice to the Revisional Applicants. Revision Application shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 31st May, 2016. All contentions on merits are kept open.
