Heard both sides. Rule. By consent, rule is made returnable forthwith.

The petitioner has preferred an application for furlough. The said application came to be rejected. Being aggrieved thereby, the petitioner preferred an appeal against the said order of rejection. The appeal came to be dismissed. Hence, this petition.

jdk 2 10a.cri.wp.4349.14.doc The learned A.P.P. on instructions states that the petitioner has completed his sentence of imprisonment and he has been released from prison on 15.1.2016. In this view of the matter, the prayer of the petitioner does not survive for consideration. Hence, the petition is dismissed. Rule is discharged.
