Applicant is present with his advocate. Respondent no. 1 is present with her advocate. Parties are jointly requesting for quashing of F.I.R. under Sections 354, 509, 323 of the Indian Penal Code. Respondent no. 1 has tendered an affdavit giving no objection, today.

2 25.1340.19 alp.doc Applicant and respondent no. 1 also state that they are ready and willing to donate a reasonable amount to police welfare fund as cost, since public time and resource is lost in the matter. Taking over all view of matter, since nothing fruitful will come out of prosecution, we are inclined to interfere. We direct applicant and respondent no. 1 to deposit in police welfare fund of State, a sum of Rs. 25,000/- within four weeks from today. Subject to payment of such cost to police welfare fund, we make Rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (b). Criminal Application is allowed and disposed of. [NITIN W. SAMBRE, J.] [B. P.
