Petitioner has expressed apprehension to his life due to certain incidents which took place in Nashik Road Central Prison, Nashik in which he being a witness has given his statement before the Judicial Magistrate, Nashik. He has therefore prayed that, he may be granted protection as per the Witness Protection Scheme. 2.

Learned APP on instructions from the Superintendent of Nashik Road Central Prison, Nashik submitted that, the Petitioner has been transferred to Ahmednagar District Prison from 19.08.2022. 3.

In view of the above, the grievance of the Petitioner as of today does not survive.

Petition is accordingly disposed off.
