This Court by order dated 26 August 2021, in Criminal Bail Application No. 2235 of 2021, while releasing the present applicant on bail had inter-alia imposed the following condition: "(d) The applicant shall not leave India without prior permission of the Court, which is competent to frame the charge against him."

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is a Chartered Accountant and is frequently required to travel abroad for his work. It is submitted that applicant after seeking permission of the trial Court on six occasions had gone abroad and came back. It is submitted that the apprehension that the applicant may abscond, therefore, does not survive. Darshan P. Patil 1/2

Considering the overall facts and circumstances, I am inclined to modify the condition in question. The applicant instead of seeking permission of the trial Court, shall intimate the concerned Police Station/ Investigating Ofocer about his travel plan at least one week before his scheduled date of departure. 4.
