Though other reliefs are claimed in the above Petition, the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner Mr. Mendadkar submits that the only relief which the Petitioner is seeking is a direction to the Respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner within a particular time frame.

It seems that the Tribe claim of the Petitioner is pending before the Respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar, since the year 2013. We therefore direct the Respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee, Nadurbar, to hear and decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner latest by 31-32019 by giving proper opportunity to the Petitioner. The Petitioner to appear before the Respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar on 12-11mmj

wp-3038-16(904).doc 2018 and the Respondent No.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar thereafter to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner within the outer limit fixed by the instant order. Pending consideration of the tribe claim of the Petitioner, no coercive steps in respect of the service of the Petitioner be taken. With the directions as aforesaid, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
