The Petitioner has approached this Court raising his grievance that despite the application/complaint submitted to the Respondent No.2 regarding harassment suffered by the Petitioner from her husband and his family members, no cognizance of the same was taken and no decision was taken by said Respondent on her application/complaint. It is pointed out that subsequently the Petitioner has also approached the Respondent No.1 - Commissioner of Police, Thane with her grievance, but no steps were taken by the Respondent No.1 to redress her grievance.

A query was put to the learned APP appearing for the Respondent/ lgc

(15) cri.wp-5061.19.odt State, whether the application/complaint filed by the Petitioner has been decided and as to what steps could be taken in the matter to decide the application/complaint filed by the Petitioner. The learned APP on instructions of PSI Mr. G B Ganeshkar of Narpoli Police Station, Thane, who is present in Court, submits that Senior Police Inspector of Narpoli Police Station, Thane shall take a decision on the application/complaint submitted by the Petitioner within a period of one week from today. Statement accepted. On the aforesaid statement of the learned APP, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
