TUESDAY, 19th JUNE, 2018 P.C. :

The substantive relief sought in the above Writ Petition is founded on the letter dated 25th July 2017 addressed by the Petitioners who are concerned with one Sonal Developers, to the Senior Inspector of Police, Koparkhairane Police Station. A reading of the said letter discloses that the same is bereft of any particulars, except the flat numbers. How such a letter can be taken into consideration by the police, therefore, begs an answer. In our view, seeking reliefs on the basis of the said letter is thoroughly misconceived. We, therefore, decline to entertain the above SQ Pathan 1/2

wp.4228.17.14.doc Writ Petition. However, it would be open for the Petitioner to make an appropriate representation within four weeks from date. If any such representation is filed, the Senior Inspector of Koparkhairane Police Station may take the same into consideration and inform his decision to the Petitioners within two weeks thereafter. If the representation is not filed in terms of the instant order, then the benefit of this order would not enure to the Petitioners.

With the observations as aforesaid, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
