Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this writ petition by directing Respondent No.2-the Education Officer, Secondary, Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur to decide the proposal dated 24th December 2016 submitted by the Headmaster of Respondent No.4school [copy of which is annexed at Exhibit-E to this petition] requesting to grant approval to the Petitioners' appointment as Shikshan Sevak, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and Respondent No.2 shall decide the said proposal for patilsr 1 / 2

grant of approval to the appointment of Petitioners independently, on its own merits and strictly in accordance with law. 3.

In order to enable Respondent No.2 to comply with the directions given hereinabove, the Petitioner shall attend 2nd respondent's office on 9th April 2018 at 11.00 a.m with a copy of the said proposal and a copy of this order.

Till the disposal of aforesaid proposal, the ad-interim relief granted on 30th November 2017 shall enure to the benefit of Petitioners.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
