The challenge in this writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is to the order dated 8 March 2021 passed by the Family Court. Since remedy of filing statutory appeal under the provisions of the Family Courts Act, 1984 is available to the petitioner, extraordinary constitutional jurisdiction cannot be invoked as the petitioner has alternate statutory remedy. 2.

The writ petition, therefore, stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file statutory appeal.
