Learned A.P.P. states that the applicant is served with a notice under Section 41A of Cr.P.C. on 30/09/2022, since the offence invoked in the subject C.R. is under Sections 406, 420 read with 34 of I.P.C.

On being confronted, learned counsel for the applicant states that he shall report to the Investigating Offcer within a period of 7 days from today.

Upon his appearance, the Investigating Offcer shall follow the mandate set out under Section 41A of Cr.P.C. and shall record reasons in writing, in case, he comes to the conclusion that the arrest is necessary. Before effecting the arrest for the purpose of custodial interrogation, he shall serve 72 hours notice to the applicant.

With the aforesaid direction, the application stands disposed off.
