The Petitioner has made a grievance that statement of the Petitioner is not being recorded by the woman police officer though the complaint/allegation is in respect of an offence punishable under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. Learned APP for the State having taken instructions from Ms. Ragini Ramchandra Waghmare, API, Boriwali Police Station, states that statement of the Petitioner would be recorded by the woman police officer only. Statement is accepted as undertaking to this Court. In the light of above statement, grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed. The Petitioner is at liberty to furnish the statement in writing, if she so desires.
