This application seeks permission to pursue Criminal Appeal No. 918 of 2003. The applicant is the son of the original Appellant Kumar Ganpatrao Kapse. The Appellant has expired on 22nd September, 2021. Death Certificate has been annexed to the application.

The Appellant was convicted for the offences under section 7 and 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

The applicant has prayed that he may be permitted to be brought on record as Legal Heir of the deceased Appellant in order to enable him pursue this appeal. There is no impediment in allowing this application.

ORDER

(i) Interim Application No. 3309 of 2021 is allowed. (ii) Applicant is permitted to pursue Criminal Appeal No. 918 of 2003.

(iii) Requisite amendment shall be carried out in the Appeal within a period of two weeks from today. (iv) Interim Application No. 3309 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
