Heard the learned counsel for the applicant.

As the Court expressed its disinclination to entertain the prayer for bail especially having regard to the antecedents of the applicant, the learned counsel, on instruction, seeks leave to withdraw the application.

Application stands dismissed as withdrawn.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that having regard to the intermediate quantity of the contraband substance found in possession of the applicant, the trial be expedited. 5.

The prayer is justifiable.

The learned Special Judge seized with the Special Case No. 1037 of 2023 is requested to commence and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of nine months form the date of communication of this order. Application disposed.
