The grievance of the petitioner is that the proposal dated 28th December, 2016 (Exhibit I) sent by respondent Nos. 4 and 5 to respondent No.2-Education Officer (Secondary) for grant of approval of the petitioner's appointment has not been decided as yet. According to the petitioner, he had submitted detailed representation on 18th January, 2017 (Exhibit J) making out a case for grant of approval of his appointment but till date no orders have been passed by respondent No.2 - Education Officer (Secondary). 2.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the parties and keeping in view the fact that the proposal sent by respondent Nos.4 and 5 for grant of approval 1/2

DDR 17.WP 12561-17.doc of the petitioner's appointment and the petitioner's representation are still pending before respondent No. 2 -Education Officer (Secondary), we dispose of this petition by directing respondent No. 2 - Education Officer (Secondary) to consider and take appropriate decision in accordance with law on the said proposal and representation as expeditiously as possible, but in any case not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.

With the aforesaid direction the petition is disposed of. 4.
