The grievance of the petitioner is that his application filed under Section 156 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 and Rule 107(II) (d) (i) of the Rules made thereunder is pending before the District Magistrate, Kolhapur and the same has not been considered and decided even after a long lapse of time.
In view of the aforesaid without commenting upon the merits of the matter this petition is disposed of by directing the
rpa 5/5 respondent no.4 Collector/District Magistrate, Kolhapur to consider and decide the petitioner's pending application in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of.
