Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners. He seeks writ of mandamus directing various authorities to take action of demolition in respect of alleged illegal constructions.

Before filing this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, the Petitioners have not approached the concerned authorities and called upon them to take action. No such representation has been annexed. We, therefore, decline to entertain this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution Megha 1/2

p18_wp_13189_2016.doc of India. It will be open to the Petitioners to make a representation to Appropriate Authorities. The Appropriate Authorities shall take action in accordance with law after considering the representation. 4.

Subject to what is observed above, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
