By this application, the applicant/revision petitioner/accused is seeking four weeks time to deposit the amount of Rs.15,00,000/- before the learned trial Court. Heard both sides.

The applicant was convicted of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and that conviction is confirmed by the trial Court. That is how, the Gaikwad RD 1/2

(18)APPRNo.5502017 revision petition preferred by the applicant before this Court. While ensuring liberty of the applicant, on 28th August 2017, this Court had directed the applicant to deposit the amount of Rs.25,00,000/- within ten days and balance amount of Rs.15,00,000/- within four weeks thereafter. It is seen that by taking one extension, the applicant has deposited an amount of Rs.25,00,000/- in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ratnagiri. The applicant is seeking four more weeks time for depositing Rs.15,00,000/-.

As a last chance, four more weeks time is granted to the applicant to deposit the balance amount of Rs.15,00,000/- in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ratnagiri with an understanding that no further extension shall be granted. The application is accordingly disposed of.
