1] The petitioner is a project affected person and he has tendered an application to the District Rehabilitation Officer for allotment of an alternate land as rehabilitation measure. The application dated 23rd February 2018 tendered by the petitioner has not yet been dealt with by the concerned Authority. The petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the District Rehabilitation Officer (respondent No.4) to take decision as regards his entitlement for alternate land within stipulated period. 2] Considering the request made above, the instant petition stands disposed of by directing the District Rehabilitation Officer (Respondent No.4) to take a decision on the application tendered by the petitioner, in accordance with law and on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today and it is accordingly, directed.
