These applications are received from jail. Applicant has prayed that, as his appeal is not being heard expeditiously, he may be permitted to withdraw the appeal.

The learned Single Judge of this Court in the case of Ramkesh Rampyare Kewat Vs. The State of Maharashtra in Criminal Application No.379 of 2015 in its Order dated 21.12.2015 has held that, such a request cannot be entertained and the appeal will have to be heard on its own merits.

In view thereof place the appeal on final hearing board in the week commencing from 09.04.2018 as per its turn. 4.
