P.C.: This is an Application for expediting the hearing of C.C. No.2330/PW/2017 pending on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 67th Court, Borivali, Mumbai.
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Applicants and perused the record.
The Applicants are accused in MECR No. 1 of 2012 dated 25th February 2012, registered with Kurar Police Station, Mumbai. After completion of the investigation, the Police has submitted the Chargesheet on 1st October, 2012 and the learned Magistrate has taken cognizance of the said case.

It is the settled position of law that, the accused are having right of expeditious trial. In view thereof, the learned Magistrate, 67th Court, Borivali, Mumbai is hereby directed to expedite the hearing of the C.C. No.2330/PW/2017 and to make an endeavour to conclude the trial of the said case within a period of one year from the date of receipt of the present order.
