Perused the request made by the prisoner Laxman dated 28th September 2017. He was then undergoing sentence at Taloja Central Prison, Navi Mumbai.

He has supplied two phone numbers claiming the said to be of his relatives and had requested for arranging the telephonic conversation. The learned APP has invited our attention to the fact that his relatives are from Rajasthan.

He is in prison since 12th October 2001 and has been convicted on 23rd November 2004. Thus, he has already completed more than 18 years of actual imprisonment.

pmw 2/2 wp-4262.17.doc In this situation, if facility of telephonic conversation with relatives is already not extended to him, we direct the concerned Superintendent/ Jailor to extend that facility within four weeks from today. with these directions, we dispose of proceedings. Order be communicated to prisoner in jail.
