1] This is the second Bail Application filed by the Applicant in the light of the order dated 18.08.2021, when the learned counsel sought permission to withdraw the application on expressing disinclination. 2] The Applicant faces accusation under Section 20(b)(ii)(c) read Digitally signed by RAJSHREE KISHOR MORE Date:

2024.03.05 10:09:54 +0530 with 8(c) of the NDPS Act, in CR No.90/2019, registered with Satara RAJSHREE KISHOR MORE City Police Station.

Perusal of the charge-sheet would reveal that the Applicant was found in conscious possession of commercial quantity of Ganja measuring 86 Kg. 100 Gram, which he was carrying in the boot of his 1/2

(1)BA-3027-2023.doc car, which was intercepted on receiving secret information and everything fell into place, as Ganja was found to be worth Rs.7,73,580/-.

Since the Applicant is accused of dealing with commercial quantity, despite his long incarceration since 2019, I am not inclined to release him on bail.

3] The learned APP inform that two witnesses have been examined. Though she was asked to seek instructions about schedule of the trial before the Special Court, she is unable to provide any insight. Considering that 17 more witnesses have to be examined, I deem it appropriate to direct the Special Court, Satara which is ceased of the Special Case to conclude the trial, including pronouncement of the Judgment till 25.10.2024.

Bail Application stand disposed off in the aforesaid terms. The Learned APP shall communicate this order to the concerned Court.
